Where is a good location for a photo shoot?
Anywhere there is shade. Central park is a favorite for sure. Also, Carl Schurz Park (UES), Southpoint Park (Roosevelt Island), Bolton’s Landing (Lake George), really anywhere in your neighborhood. The streets of Manhattan at dusk is strikingly beautiful.
My kids are pretty active - is that okay?
100%. Natural smiles are the best smiles.
Do you do photo shoots indoors?
Yes! I will use what natural sunlight you have through the windows and bring additional lighting to use if needed.
What should we wear?
Most important - something comfortable. Do you want to coordinate or compliment? Do you want to look clean & crisp or shabby-chic? You choose! Based on location, season, style, I can recommend color palettes, textures and patterns.
What should I bring to the photo shoot?
If we are meeting at a park and you want to bring something to sit on, bring it. Snacks and water for the kids (and yourself!). If your kiddo is never without a car in their hand, please bring the car!
Do you Photoshop?
A (little) bit. My editing is meant to enrich your emotions and allow your personality to be center stage.
